Food, drinks, music, service, and owner was all super good!
I ordered a red beer for my boyfriend and a long island tea for myself. My drink was burned and it cost me over 10 dollars. Not worth the drive to come out to a bar in the sticks!
Lots of potential! I left the foyer and was greeted by a friendly, bespectacled gentleman(Chet?) on opening night, who appeared to be standing in an open kitchen to the left. I congratulated him on the opening, chatted with him a bit & entered into the modern, uplit bar. A narrow pass alonside the front of the bar leads to a back room where there are tables and chairs with a small stage area. Sean had been prompting me to check the website for the opening and it finally happened:) Shane was attentive with his service at the bar & table where I sat...and the bartendress(70 years young:)) was a hoot! Fun, friendly atmosphere with some good food choices that I didn't get to try, so I want to come back to see it after the finishing touches they have planned! Much success, fellas!
Was at the new gay bar and bistro last night for New Years Eve and was so excited about the bar and bistro, staff was great, food was excellent. VERY clean, great music and DJ. Everybody seemed to be having a great time seeing friends and getting to know each other. JUST a very welcoming place. Thanks to the sanctuary bar and bistro!
