Since I began knitting two years ago, I've probably written more checks to Prairie Yarns than anywhere else in town. The staff is terrific -- helpful but not pushy, with an eye for color and fiber combinations that has shaped many, many projects I love.
Customer service has certainly taken a nose-dive since my last visit.
All of my experiences shopping at Prairie Yarns have been very positive. The staff is very knowledgeable about their products as well as hand work in general. I'm looking forward to taking part in some of their upcoming classes and events.
I love Prairie Yarns. Having a small business yarn shop in town is great. The employees are always so pleasant. Also have a good selection of yarns. Knittaz 4 life!!! :)
Prairie Yarns is a wonderful place to purchase knitting supplies from yarn to accessories, anything you could imagine. It's also a wonderful place to go and get some help with a project, sit and knit for a while, and even have a cup of coffee. There is a terrific yarn selection, tons of books and patterns to inspire you, and everyone in the store is anxious to show off what they are working on. They offer many classes whether you are a beginner or a more advanced knitter, the newest trends in yarns and friendly smiles. I love to check out yarn shops when I travel, and you will find it difficult to beat this one.
