I really love this restaurant. It's in need of a major overhaul but the food for the price is pretty good. Anytime we order to go or for delivery the food is amazing. I would say a to go meal or delivery meal is better than the buffet, but the buffet has this amazing jalapeno chicken!
I would give a higher star rating but they didn't have any of the sweet biscuits. Everything else has always been good it is definitely a place to try if you live around or go to school at MSUM.
Pretty decent food, and nice people. We came at closing time, and were still able to order off menu, so nice fresh hot food! Also had coupons :)
We ordered 4 luncheon meals which they told us would take about an hour today. It took 1 and1/2 hours and we're just down the street from this restaurant. By the time we got our food it was cold and all the sauce was dumped out into the bottom of the bags. I could see one being cold and some sauce being dumped out but all 4 of them not having any sauce left in the containers that it looked like they purposely did this. The driver said he's from Fargo and doesn't know Moorhead streets as that was why it took so long. But really we're on the same street as they are. Will not order or go back to this place. Plus it was very expensive for what little we got. The menu says the luncheon meals are $5.45 but with the 4 meals, tax and delivery it was just under $30.00. I have tried calling to talk to them but phone either rings and rings or they answer but then hang up. This place use to have very good food but has really gone down hill.
Horrible experience. Food was supposed to be an hour it took 2 hours. Food was cold. Delivery drive didn't even have a pen to sign with. Well I didn't have a pen to sign with. I called to talk with management and her reason was it was busy. I called 6 times before they finally answered me. I live less than a few blocks from this place. She said she would credit me a free meal next time. No thanks. I will never order from here again
Good food with decent delivery and take out times. Buffet is very affordable. Pleasant workers and atmosphere, just keep in mind that it is a buffet and the food does get stale when it is not busy.
